Method of on-line monitoring total chromium in water with potassium chlorate as oxidant

Abstract

The invention relates to a method of monitoring total chromium in water and discloses a method of on-line monitoring total chromium in water with potassium chlorate as an oxidant, wherein the method includes following steps: (1) sampling: adding 10 ml of a water sample being 6-9 in pH value from exterior to a reaction chamber of an instrument through an extraction apparatus; (2) addition of the oxidant: adding 5ml of the oxidant, a saturated potassium chlorate solution, to the reaction chamber of the instrument and stirring the mixed liquid uniformly; (3) sealed heating: sealedly heating the mixed liquid at a constant temperature of 100 DEG C for 10 min, and cooling the mixed liquid to room temperature; (4) color development: adding 1.5 ml of a mixed acid solution composed of sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and water according to the volume ratio of 1:1:15, and adding 1.5 ml of a color development agent, which is an ethanol solution containing diphenylcarbazide and phthalic anhydride, with stirring uniformly, and performing a color development reaction for 2 min; and (5) measurement: measuring the absorbance with a 540 nm light source and substituting the absorbance into a standard operation curve according to the absorbance of series standard solutions to calculate the concentration of total chromium in the water sample, wherein the result is displayed on and stored in the instrument or is sent to a data acquisition instrument. The method can save time and energy and is simple and accurate.
本发明涉及水中总铬的监测方法,公开了一种使用氯酸钾作为氧化剂的在线监测总铬的方法,包括如下步骤:取样:通过提取装置从外部向仪器的反应室中加入pH=6~9的水样10mL;加入氧化剂:向仪器的反应室中加入氧化剂饱和氯酸钾溶液5mL,搅匀;密闭加热:于100℃恒温密闭加热10min,之后将混合液冷却至室温;显色:加入体积比为1∶1∶15的硫酸∶磷酸∶水的混酸溶液1.5mL,然后加入显色剂二苯碳酰二肼和邻苯二甲酸酐的乙醇溶液1.5mL搅拌均匀后进行显色反应,显色时间为2min;测量:在540nm的光源下测量吸光度,并代入事先根据系列标准溶液的吸光度而做出的标准工作曲线,计算出水样中总铬的浓度,得到的结果显示并贮存在仪器中或发送给数采仪。该方法省时节能、简单准确。
