The rust remover provided by the technical scheme does not contain matters which are harmful to human health, so that the content of inorganic acids in the rust remover is greatly reduced, and the rust remover is free of cancergenic matters and is beneficial for environmental protection and human health. In addition, the rust remover can be used according to a wiping method, so that the rust remover is simple and convenient, low in requirement on equipment and occupation and good in rust removal effect, and the corrosion resisting period of metals after rust removal is at least doubled compared with that of original metals.
