Abstract

The invention discloses a ceramic ESD (electro-static discharge) suppressor and a production method thereof. The ceramic ESD suppressor made of semiconductor integrates thick film printing technique. A functional material layer provided with a frame structure is printed on an electrode cutting groove portion. As voltage greater than a set value is applied to external electrodes, electrodes at cutting clearance portions discharge mainly along the inside of the functional material layer. Since the cutting groove electrode is provided with clearances formed by points and functional slurry as loose frame structure, electrons are prone to moving, and accordingly discharge phenomenon easily occurs to improve ESD responsiveness, and ESD features are conveniently adjusted and stabled. The electrodes are printed on the surface of a ceramic substrate sintered and protected from deformation caused by sintering after cutting. A protection layer covers the ceramic substrate and functions in better protecting frame structure of the functional material layer and removing influence of moisture to the functional material layer.
本发明公开了一种陶瓷静电抑制器及其制备方法,采取半导体材料和厚膜印刷工艺相结合,在电极切槽部位印刷具有骨架结构的功能材料层,当外部电极之间施加规定以上的大小的电压而在切割缝隙部位的电极之间产生放电,主要是沿骨架结构的功能材料层内部放电,由于切槽部位电极存在尖端和功能浆料为疏松的骨架结构形成的缝隙,容易引起电子的移动,能更有效地产生放电现象,提高ESD响应性,容易调整和稳定ESD特性。电极印刷在烧成后的陶瓷基板表面,切割后烧结不会引起电极形变。陶瓷基板覆盖保护层,可以更好的保护功能材料层的骨架结构以及隔绝湿气对功能材料层的影响。
